SCOPE

Exciting new developments are emerging to convert information from the automated shop floor directly into management information in real time. This workshop takes a look at different case studies on how the gap between automation equipment on the plant floor and the manager's desk top PC is bridged and how these systems have improved plant performance.

ORGANISATION

Registration, where tea and coffee will be served, will open at 08:00 at the Rand Water Auditorium, with the first presentation starting at 08:30. Parking is available at Rand Water (see map on reverse side).

 

WORKSHOP FEE

The workshop fee is R750 for SACAC members, R950 for non-members and R200 for bona fide students (proof is required). The fee includes lecture notes, tea/coffee served during the morning and afternoon, and a luncheon.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Unforeseen circumstances may necessitate the appointment of speakers different from the ones advertised.

2. Cancellations are accepted IN WRITING and without penalty, up to 7 working days prior to commencement of the workshop - SUBSTITUTES ARE ACCEPTED.

3. Delegates canceling IN WRITING less than 7 days prior to commencement of the workshop will be liable to pay a 20% cancellation fee.

4. If prior WRITTEN notification is not received, default delegates will be liable to pay the full fee.

5. The workshop fee as indicated includes notes, refreshments and luncheon.

6. In case of insufficient applications for the workshop, SACAC reserves the right to cancel the workshop. Applicants will be informed and all fees will be refunded immediately. The number of applicants on the workshop is limited and acceptance will be on a first come, first serve basis.
